Buy the original books, skip the poorly designed, hard-to-use software.
The NIDOTTE BOOK set is wonderful! Compact, infinitely user-friendly, accessible in every way, and head-and-shoulders above every other Hebrew/Theological dictionary for the Hebrew Bible for beginning and intermediate students. However, this particular SOFTWARE has some built in, severely limiting "gotcha's" that will throw average users off and even make it unusable. Zondervan offers an all-important "patch" on their web site, but it involves a 6-7 step do-it-yourself method in which you have to "open the hood" of Windows more than average users will feel comfortable doing. And even then, for this user, it still didn't work. By "didn't work", I mean that the all important "search" function simply doesn't work! It produces endless loops of error messages. The result is...a clunker...and for something that is billed as "version 5.1", it is a very surprising clunker. My advice is to stick to the multi-volume book set until these people figure out how to build software that doesn't come with built-in bugs!

I wish they'd make another for the rest of the books!
I absolutely LOVE having the first 10 books on my computer! It was interesting that they were in the extras portion of the program so I had to do a bit of searching, but they were there, along with the program to use them. The program can even have the computer sound out the words so they can be a type of audio book. I just hope they do the same thing with the remaining 6 books.

The other stuff included is prophecy teaching material that I haven't looked through yet. (I only got it a few days ago).

Another good thing is that once you install it, you don't have to put the cd in your computer every time you use it.

Anyway, I highly recommend it!

Not what I thought it was
I was not able to get it to do what I claimed it would do. I was very disappointed because I LOVED the books.

won't be L B
This is the most fantastic product since the Bible. It contains the text of the first ten books of the series, which I am having a blast reading on my PDA. I sure hope they will offer the addition of further books as they come out. I probably went in reverse 'cause now I ordered Ilumina. I love the L B series for it's understandable explinations of the events in Revelations. One problem... Once you get started on this, you get nothing else done!It's about time really good software was offered that doesn't contain dragons, witches and all the other gore that has clouded people's minds.

Wonderful For Fan's Of The Left Behind Series
I love this, not only are the 1st ten books on here,(available in Palm and Microsoft reader format), but almost everything you wanted to know about end times prophecy is included along with beautiful pictures of the Holy Land and bios of all your favorite Left Behind characters. Also there are little unknown bits of triva as to the beginings of this bestselling series.......if your a fan this is a must have!

Bible Study like never before
This is the best bible software i've ever used. This software takes you to to new depths in studying God's word!

This program has the most documents in one place than I have ever seen.
I bought this version as an resource for my personal Bible Study time, and for more information to raise my family. The software was easy to use, and the support staff was very friendly. No matter was you wanted to know about the Bible, or what version you wanted in, this has it. Maybe you want to organize a prayer list, or keep a journal, or read a daily verse, it has all that too.

Nothing Better
I used Mobil 1 10W-30 in my 1994 Ford F-150 six cylinder for 14 years. At 210,000 miles I have never had to replace anything on the engine - it's entirely cherry. After the break in period I only changed the oil every 25,000 miles while changing the filter every 5,000 miles. Not only did I get gas mileage so good no one believed me (20 mpg winter, 23 mpg summer)but it didn't cost any more than conventional oils and I never had a problem with my truck. I recently sold my truck to a guy who couldn't wait to get his hands on it and I now run Mobil 1 in my 2008 Ford Ranger 4 cylinder and am getting 40 mpg (OK, 34 mpg with the engine running, 40 mpg by hypermiling).

Astounding!
This is a wonderful tool for the serious Christian Educator. I absolutely love the detailed animation that allows you to interact with in the temple and other features. I presented this to the Sunday school staff at my church and they were simply awe-struck. Please bless your self and your ministry with this wonderful software.

A wonderful Bible study tool
I have found the iLumina Gold Bible and encyclopedia software to be incredibly helpful in my Bible study. If there is something that I need more information on, it is immediately available at the click of the mouse. The "My Study Center" search brings all the related Scripture, articles, animation, photos and maps right to me. The virtual tours put you right in the place and time, and are truly incredible to watch. I've recommended iLumina Gold to my group leader because so much valuable material can be cut and pasted for handouts and presentations.

Beautiful interface, occasional errors in information
I have run across a few factual errors, here is an exaple: I was going through the time line, and found that it says that John the apostle died in 6 BC, which is about a hundred years before he really died. I contacted the company, and they said that would be corrected in version 2.The movie viewer, if you select full screen, it will revert back to small screen, after a while.

Perfect Gift Which Keeps Giving
This Christmas I gave several of these to neighbors, family and friends. Everyone was greatful and especial those who didn't really know the Bible. One was surprised by my gift and later mentioned to me that her and her daughter was going to go through it that evening! WOW! Perfect Gift for someone who thinks they have everything and especially those who spend more time on the computer than with a book.
